Bachelor of Dental Surgery Programme
The Institute is offering Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) a four year programme followed by one year compulsory internship. The Central Government & The Dental Council of India (DCI) has sanctioned intake of 100 students per annum.
Course Structure
I Year
General Human Anatomy and Histology, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, and Dental Materials.
II Year
General Pharmacology and Therapeutics, General Pathology and Microbiology, Dental Anatomy and Histology, Pre-Clinical Conservative Dentistry, Pre-Clinical Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridgework
III Year
General Medicine, General Surgery, Oral Pathology, Preventive and Community Dentistry
IV Year
Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics and Orthodontics
Eligibility for Admission

Candidates with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in Intermediate/ISC or equivalent examination from any recognised university/ board are eligible to take admission to the BDS programme.

For SC/ST & OBC, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 40% in lieu of 50% for general candidates.

Admission to the four years BDS course shall be through a competitive examination (CPMT) held by the Government of UP. Constitutional reservation for the admission to this course shall also be controlled by the Govt.

There is provision for direct admission also to the course under Management Quota seat as per rules. Admission to foreign nationals is also available through NRI/Management Quota.
